The “Kitantzis Plants & Supplies” group of companies has been involved in the Floriculture and Agriculture industry in Greece since 1964. The group’s business activities include the growing and marketing of indoor and outdoor plants, the construction of greenery works, the production of multiplying materials and seeds, the sale of all types of pots and the sale of fertilizers/supplies for agriculture and horticulture purposes. The Company serves more than 4,500 customers, ranging from flower producers to garden centers, florists, super markets, architects, construction companies, academic and research foundations and public sector organizations. The group employs about 70 people, 10 of whom are agronomists. The group’s vertical integration operating system (from the seed to the super market shelf), in conjunction with our highly skilled staff and the extensive collaboration with industry leaders all over the world, result in offering the best possible quality products and services to pour customers and has brought “Kitantzis Plants & Supplies” to the top industry position in Greece. Our group also participates in various initiatives for the increase of the green areas in Athens and the support of socially vulnerable groups. The company based on its strong capital base and minor loan obligations, despite the adverse economic environment in Greece, continues to invest in the industry so that everyone, customers, partners and employees benefits from the growth of the group. The group’s facilities are located in Kifissia (10.000m2) and in Marathon (50.000 m2). The group’s turnover in 2011 exceeded €6,000,000.
