History
Kitantzis Plants and Supplies S.A.was founded by the grandfather of the current owners, Yiannis Kitantzis. Born on the island of Naxos in a family of florists, he relocated to Athens in the same site where our headquarters stand today, in Kifissia. He married Paraskevi Katzilieri, who also came from a family of florists, and together they started cultivating the plant Ceres in small greenhouses. His son, Stelios, took over the business and headed its development and growth from 1960 onwards. Today, “Kitantzis Plants and Supplies” is the leading company in the Floriculture sector in Greece. The company’s development has contributed greatly to the growth of the Floriculture industry in Greece.
